2 H2H Scenarios Here & Now

Post by Redleg »

With the help of several players on another thread, these two scenarios designed for pbem play were created.

They are not historical but are designed to be as evenly matched as possible.

One is German as player one; the other has Soviet as player one.

Both are 1942 fair weather battles.

Depending upon what is said about these, further changes may be made to optimize play.

Both are set up with a small "core force" and some 2,000 points available for purchase. Have fun.

Excellent tutorial

Redleg: Played both of your latest H2H scenarios. Got a Draw with Germans vs Russian. The next version Sov vs Ger was a MV but I found this to be an excellent tutorial for urban warfare. Keep up the good work. I reccomend both for training and play. Thank you.:)

PS I played both with 'core' forces only.

Chief,
Thanks for the information and for trying the scenarii versus the AI. It hadn't occurred to me that someone would play it that way.

Now if Don Doom or anyone who has pbem or online results will come along, it will help me finish these up.

Thanks again, Chief.

Victim ...

Doom I will play you if you like. Whichever version you want, C&C off or on at your choice. I'd be happy to do an DAR (or analysis) on the forum as well.

Can manage one turn per day generally. I'd class myself a reasonably experienced player but certainly no hot shot.

No chance to buy ...

Post by Squirmer »

I've just tested this in both hotseat and PBEM modes. I don't get a chance to buy the 2000 points of extra stuff. With the earlier version I did.

Any clues?
