Great idea. Kudos for including a demo. Game is fun, enjoyable & has the "one-more-turn" factor. Graphics are clear & audio is good. Also some nice music. Some great moments of drama! You really have to buy the full game (with campaign) to appreciate everything on offer. Price-point is fair.

Hmm, spotted some "typos" in text -- shame! When switching from the "management" screen to the "race" screen the nice music suddenly stops, the screen goes black, and there's a "hiatus" for a few seconds -- would prefer a smoother transition or something that builds rather than destroys the anticipation & excitement. The visual clues relating to upgrades were lost on me. The crowd scenes are static, although the audio gives some atmosphere. Replays would be nice.

I've seen things that are not typos so much as (I'm guessing) coming from the fact that English is not your first language. You refer to quadrigas being "ornated". No such word. It should be "more ornate". Also the descriptions of one of my teams said it came from a "Jew family". Aside from being borderline offensive, it should be Jewish.

I'm kind of wondering how these got past the beta testers.

Hmm, I should have made a note of the typos -- one was, I think, "lenhtg" (or something similar), instead of "length". Also, some of the city descriptions are not grammatical (e.g. singular & plural get mixed up) ...

It's a shame because the game itself is really great and I've been playing it all day! I'm guessing English isn't your first language?

Language & text errors in games are fairly common. Some would argue that it's not important. The errors in this game are not stopping me from playing -- I just think the game would look more "polished" and give a better impression if the text was corrected.

English is not my mother language indeed, I am from Spain. We corrected several typos during betatesting, but if you could catch some more please write them here, will be corrected in a future patch.

Hi Daniel! The game is great! Some of the city-info text is ungrammatical but I guess it's not a big problem. Let me know if I can help (I have some experience in this area):

One grammatical error that I noticed immediately: the plural of "Denarius" is "Denarii." The latter should be used for monetary amounts.

The testers turned in a lot of grammer/typo corrections. Some may have just been accidentally overlooked or maybe additional text added later didn't make it past the testing stage. I remember quite a few that were indeed corrected so I think we're looking at just a handful of leftovers that I'm sure will be fixed if notified. The Random Event that says something about your "angry auriga can only use whip orders" didn't used to use the word "angry". [:-][;)][:D]
