If I sell an 'Auriga' does he stay in the game?

If I sell an 'Auriga' does he stay in the game?

Just curious, if I sell an Auriga is there a chance of seeing him later in the game. Does he stay in the database or is he gone.

It's not very important but it would great if a discarded Rider could come back and 'haunt' you later in the game!

He may stay in the game but there will be no way he'll come over for a chat....
