Is it possible to change a campaign from turn to active?

I cannot seem to find an option to change how my campaign plays out. I have it set to turn but want to switch it to the active mode. Is that possible? If not can it be added?

No, at this moment it is not possible to change play mode or difficulty once the campaign starts
