Netplay - Guad

Ok Vic and I started a Guad game up. Got a few errors right off the start but were able to continue past them.

Then this one cropped up.

Japs are invading India, when I initiated the combat it showed the correct odds. When I clicked continue it flashed by shore bombardment and then jumped straight to combat resolution.
It now shows as 21+ like if the allies didn't select the notional unit to be applied. It says CW is choosing combat on my screen and it says Japs on his screen and neither of us can continue the combat.
