Overwrting combat replays

I've just messed up a tad and overwritten my combat save with an PBEM opponent with an another game when my brain wasn't switched on.

I'm the Japanese, if I just send the turn will that still work?

I still can't believe I did it but is the fact my opponent won't see the combat replay the worst damage, or is it terminal?

I did something similar not too long ago, and the game was able to proceed just fine. Fortunately, not much happened that turn and I had an understanding opponent.
