NYGiants in Hospital

Post by John 3rd »

Hello All.

I just got a call from Michael (NYGIants) saying that he is in the hospital. He had chest pains yesterday and went to urgent care. Once they did a cardiac workup, they immediately shipped him to the nearby hospital where he got 3 stents put into his chest. He is in ICU currently and they plan to shift him over to a regular room sometime today. Michael is in good spirits and, as a good obsessed AE Player, wanted me to inform his opponents of no turns for the next day or two. If all goes well he shall be out of the hospital in two days.

This game has led to forming several strong friendships over the years and none is stronger then that of him and I. We have long talks 1-2 times a week and have gotten thoroughly involved in each other's lives. It is a blessing within this great game we play that such high quality people can be involved and close relationships ensue because of it.

ANYWAY...think good thoughts for our companion and I'll Post more when I get information.

Yes. He thought it was indigestion but decided when his arm started tingling he immediately went in. Thank Goodness.

I'll be talking with him later today to take his mind off of things.

Post thoughts here and I'll read them to him!

While examing Michael, the cardiologist was stunned to find that he really had a heart.

"Didn't this guy attend Klempsin Kollidge?" the nonplussed physician exclaimed.

A nurse hastily surveyed his chart and blurted, "Not only that, Doc, he's a Yankee by origin!"

Michael is a good guy despite the obvious flaws in his pedigree. He has even promised to take me in when my AT section hiking finally takes me through his neighborhood.  This year will bring me as far as Erwin, Tennessee.  I'm getting close, so perhaps it might even be this year.

Hey, Michael, please get well soon!

A speedy and easy recovery.

Hey Dan!

I was going to email or call you when I got in a few minutes ago. Glad you saw this and chimed in. I'm calling Michael to see how he is doing. Might even try to sneak a laptop in there so he can get on some AE work!
