I think a small campaign with either of these core forces would be kinda cool:
A) Infantry battalion core force, from beach defense to street fighting in Honolulu or Sacramento.
B) Light tank platoon core force, where the scenarios have your tankers being rushed from one crisis point to another. Victory points awarded would be very low so that losing even one tank would be a major setback.
I tried making a small hypothetical scenario a long time ago where green troops were en route by truck to a checkpoint along the California coast. While on their way, gunfire echoes in the distance; Japanese SNLF have scaled a cliff and are overrunning the outpost in the pre-dawn hours. You had to rally the outpost survivors at an inland ammo dump and together with the green troops, beat off an SNLF reconnaissance in force. It didn't exactly work out
but was fun attempting to make anyways.My apologies if this thread is in the wrong section.
