[0.7.17] Crash to main menu

BASPM 0.7.17 still occasionally crashes to the main menu when you press the “back to space complex” button. When I try to reload from the auto save file I get a blank screen (background music playing). It is doing this quite often - twice in 3 turns.

Something screwy has also happened to the save game screen. There are ony 2 slots available, and the autosaves do not seem to show up.

How many savefiles and autosave files do you have in your savefile folder?

Looks like 9 in slots, and 11 autosaves

I've experienced the same issue today. That's because the savefiles in your folder are from a previous version of the game, and they are no longer compatible with the latest one. I'll add some defensive code to handle that scenario, but for now please delete the files from your folder, that should fix the problem.
