DW Universe Steam - Resolution Issue

When I start a new game the game shrinks down to a much smaller window than my actual resolution which makes the game really small and almost unplayable. Its fine in the menus before starting a game. There aren't any resolution options or any video options as far as I have been able to tell. Has anyone got a fix for this?

I have already tried updating the drivers, but that didn't change the issue.

The intro videos I believe are fixed, but the game should scale to full screen - is this not happening?

Not sure why that's happening, but you could try running DW in a window which might give you better control over things.

To do this open up the file Startup.ini in the root DW game folder (probably C:\Matrix Games\Distant Worlds)

In Startup.ini you should enable the two settings SCREENWIDTH and SCREENHEIGHT (remove the preceding single quotes) and set the values to something appropriate for your system (but no less than 1024x768).
