Assign Aircraft from Air Ops Screen

Would like to have the option to assign aircraft to missions from Air Ops Screen. The mission editor does not give aircraft status information to allow for proper planning. Adding ready status of aircraft in mission editor would help as well.

i am assuming green means ready to fly and red is not?
