small fonts (can barely read options)?

So I am very new here and just started. I have a 27inch monitor and when I bring up the option window the fonts are so small I can barely read them. I cannot find anything in the option windows to change font size (but maybe it is too small for me to find ?). Is there any method to increase font size; maybe edit a .cfg somewhere if it is not in the option ?

I really dont' want to change the resolution of the monitor as it will mess up the icons on the desktop but if windows 7 has an option to change font size that would be an option (for myself - i'm a linux sort of person so i never messed with such things on windows 7).

Well, there's a nifty utility that can be used to temporarily change the resolution while you play the game without messing with desktop icons, but aside from that it gets a bit difficult to adjust things. The game doesn't really scale, so people with high DPIs end up with damn small text and icons and people with low DPIs end up having a field day.

Ok. Thanks I think. Kind of prefer a solution where I do not download some other binary but maybe that is the only option here ? ALso is the font int he option window the only place where super small font is used ?

totally agree, I have seen this kind of thread a lot, developers please understand how painful it is to to have such tiny fonts when actually texts matter! I love the game, but the UI is a pain... the patch (1951) that improves the font was a major + but its not enough, please 'rethink' how the GUI is bringing information to the player and how easy it is to read.
