How to disband a group?

Looking for guidance on how to disband a unit. Thanks.

Switch to unit view, select the desired unit and press "D".

Not to worry.  Follow Sunburn's directions.  The "group" will be deleted, but the component units of the group will not be deleted.  I struggled with this early on too.

In editor mode, the delete button will dissolve entire group, but be careful as if you hit delete on a unit, it will delete
