1.9.5.5 DW crashed for the first time

For the first time I have experienced a DW program crash and lost nearly an hour of game play. I attribute this to the new launcher which I note does not close once the main game is launched, although I have no direct evidence it is responsible.

This launcher is unwanted, unnecessary, a nuisance and has been nothing but trouble. Now I have the loss of confidence associated with expecting the game to crash at any moment.

Can we please have instructions on how to disable it or have it removed asap.

Hi Gregorovitch,

The launcher does not cause any issues in our testing - it's been part of all previous DW release as well as the Matrix DWU release from Day 1. That said, we'll see if we can add an option to close it once the game is launched.

Didn't you have the autosave feature on? It defaults at once every 15 minutes so even if you do experience a crash you will lose 7.5 minutes on average.

Well, I doubt autosaving often is less a nuisance. In late game he's going to wait for the game to save for 5 minuts every 15 minuts ... [:D]
