Pbem game

The development team behind the award-winning games Decisive Campaigns: From Warsaw To Paris and Advanced Tactics is back with a new and improved game engine that focuses on the decisive year and theater of World War II! Decisive Campaigns: Case Blue simulates the German drive to Stalingrad and into the Caucasus of the summer of 1942, as well as its May preludes (2nd Kharkov offensive, Operation Trappenjagd) and also the Soviet winter counter-offensive (Operation Uranus) that ended with the encirclement of 6th Army in Stalingrad and the destruction of the axis minor armies. With many improvements including the PBEM++ system, this is a release to watch for wargamers!

Pbem game

Post by RCHarmon »

Just finished a game with Isokron. He defeated me soundly. Again the air war went completely against me. Not sure what I am doing wrong there.

I tried to PM you Isokron, but I am unable to pm anybody for some reason. Thanks for the game. I learned a lot.

Hm my PM inbox doesnt seem full so I dont think the problem is on my side. I think you lost the airwar because I got to do some good strikes on your airfields early (and probably also was somewhat lucky in the early fights). After that your fighters probably got too low morale and started retreating early in all battles. I think the easiest way out of that is to disband the squadrons affected and have the aircrafts join other squadrons (although this will also reset experience). This should also give you bigger air units which should also be helpful. Concentrating all your fighters at one part of the front might also be helpful to get superiority in individual battles.

Thanks for the game.

Sure is there another novice ready to be beaten ? I guess I would prefer soviets in this game since I did germans in the last one.
