Mouse Droppings

Post by Jeffrey H. »

Anyone else having cursor issues ? Mine seem to crop up around the top right window controls.

There is often a cursor image dropped and then the cursor kind of disappears.

This is when running in windowed mode.

Anyone ?

Hello Jeffrey,

Does it also occur with full screen mode?

Hello Jeffrey,

Please could you run the game in Fullscreen mode for now. Can you also attach a DxDiag report file?

How to get a DxDiag report file:

1. Click on "START" (on Windows 8 press “Windows key” and the “R” key at the same time)
2. Click "run" (skip this step on Windows 8)
3. Type in "dxdiag" and click "OK"
4. Check through the tabs and perform all tests
5. Click "Save all Information..." and save the text file to a location of your choice
6. Attach the file to your message

OK, will do on the dxdiag. However if I run the game in FS mode, my screen capture program gives me a solid black image, which is not any good for doing AAR's. Also, I am noticing some of the same problem, or a tendency of the same kind in FS mode, just not so pronounced or obvious.

This is a known unity3D problem when using custom cursors in windowed mode, unfortunately the cursor texture is lost when it goes outside the window limits. Fortunately the cursor is still working, so when people asked to play the game windowed we decided to do it despite this nuisance.
