just bought the game not working

I just got the game from steam and its not working i hit play the small window pops ups where stuff about the game is loading. when its finshed the screen turns black for a second and nothing is happends

Please try disabling the intro video.

For disabling the video intro:
Open the game folder and locater a file named "Startup.ini". Edit this file and replace PLAYMOVIE 1 with PLAYMOVIE 0. Save the file
