Soviet Advance Guard in the Attack

This is a "trainer" scenario for playing the Soviets. A Motorized Rifle Battalion (MRB), reinforced by a Tank Company, is organized as a Regiment's Advance Guard. This MRB starts the scenario in pre-battle formation. I have attempted to place the various units in the doctrinal spacing over terrain and time.

The situation is the Regiment is attacking a US mechanized infantry battalion. The MRB will attack a mechanized infantry company defending the town of Kalbe on the CA2 map. That town is the MRB's immediate objective. The Regiment's immediate objective, and so the MRB's subsequent objective, is the autobahn A1 bridge over the first river to the west of Kalbe.

There is a tutorial AAR to serve as a template for transitioning the MRB from a pre-battle movement formation to deliberate attack.
