carrier air group

I'm having a problem with carrier air groups being diverted from damaged carriers. The game engine put the air groups back on the carrier after the floation damage was repaired in port, but the air groups have too many planes now. Any way to get around this problem. :(

Hi, what version are you using? I thought this was fixed.
It is listed as number 1 change on version 2.00 patch

New game started w/ v2.0 I have 18 ready sbd's, but I have some that need repair and I have some extra. Don't have a problem with the 4F4.

Update

I have sent the Lex to pearl for repairs. Both SBD groups still have extra aircraft. I will probably send them into harms way to use up the extra's. Any other Ideas?:confused:

Hi, I would try to use the extras from land bases. (I think overloaded CV groups do not fly :eek: So important thing is are CV overload by 10 percent or more? If so place them in a safe port. Tranfsfer the over sized groups to a base where they can fight. As soon as they are below limit. Move them back to CV.

(I thought this was fixed in 2.00)

Mogami,

That sounds like a good plan. Will let you know how it pans out. Lex will be laid up for 7 months so I have some time.
