Trooper Question & Subject Races

Noob here.

Playing as Securan. Found a Naxxilian colony ship and settled them on an ice planet. The Naxxillians are going to be my troopers since the securans are artists, foodies, winos and twerkers.

Can now build Armored Factory. Will the Naxis make better tank drivers over the Securans?

Would certain races be better at the different troop categories - standard troop, armored, special forces?

Also found a flying bug...Gizurean colony ship. Will I have trouble from them?

Hello

1. Yes, some races are better to use as your troopers if they are strnger.

2. For now there is no straight effect on troop scaling - if your troops better - your armor will be better at same grade.

3. It is moddable though, tru characters - but it requires complete overhaul and alot of job - it is the thing i do now in my mod Beyond (alpha stage). The design that each race will have different character types, and some races will be more specialised and will offer certain bonuses (for example each race X general will have bonus to armor troops) while others will be specialized on something different and offer different kind of bonuses. If you want to participate in creating you are wellcome to the mod's thread, but for now, there no other way to influence it, and this way is not striaght effect but some side way which need also alot of modding/building.

4. Gizzies normally confliciting species, settle planet for them and limit other races from being there, make planet only for them, esp if your race origin planet differ from Lava.

What do you mean by "conflicting species"? There aren't any negative modifications due to having races from different racial families on the same planet, are there?

The Naxxilians will make better tank drivers, stronger upon initial recruitment, but more importantly much cheaper to maintain.

A Gizurean colony will be unhappy from being part of a Securan empire, but in the normal course of play it really just means you can't tax them as much. Look out for unhappiness there causing problems if you get into a drawn out war or if you are fighting a Gizurean empire. Getting access to a species to colonise volcanic planets is a good thing. [:)]
