Convoy Ship runs out of fuel?

While playing "First Crossing" scenario, I got a message that one of my escort ships, USS Gallery, has run out of fuel and is dead in the water. I checked through the forum and have not seen any options for underway refuel. Is this a glitch or something I should discuss with the scenario designer (although no one else has mentioned this as a problem.)

The same happened to me.
There´s a fleet AO in that convoy.
On the top menu go to View, pick the USS Gallery, then right clicking on her select UNREP.
It will probably move towards the closest AO.

Many thanks Patmanaut![&o] I went back a few hours in time to make sure I had enough fuel and after some tinkering found out I could refuel if I did following steps:

1) Detach the Gallery from the Convoy. (I found if I just selected unit view and told the Gallery to refuel the entire convoy turned around!)
2. Once the Gallery was unassigned, I selected "Unrep if possible"
3. The Gallery did an about face and as you indicated, headed for the fleet AO and began to refuel
4. After it refueled I manually sent it back to its previous station and then used "G" to group the Gallery back to the convoy.

This is the first time I've encountered such an issue, but I will certainly remember it for the future, thanks to you.

BTW I was able to finish the scenario with no future issued and received a "Triumph" [:)]

You are welcome.
I forgot to mention you to ungroup first, it´s right, the entire convoy turns back.
You can also slow down the AO so the USS Gallery doesn´t have to sprint with a blind sonar to catch up with the tanker.
It´s a nice scenario, probably too easy for the NATO side. I´ve only lost the RCAN destroyer.
I´ve tried it as Soviet, its really challenging´.
