Is there a 'Campaign save'?

Germany At War: Operation Barbarossa 1941 is an elegant turn-based design, inspired by classics such as Panzer General, but with more of a historical focus. You command the German forces through a branching historical campaign covering the entire 1941 campaign as well as part of the 1942 campaign. Dozens of scenarios stretch from the Soviet border all the way to Archangel and towards Astrakhan, the original military goals of Operation Barbarossa. Step into a wargame where your performance will rewrite history, through an addictive combination of compelling gameplay, realistic events and challenging battles.

Is there a 'Campaign save'?

Post by jack54 »

Hi everybody,

Is there a 'campaign save' or is the campaign saved as 'last scenario'. It seems all saved games are 'Scenarios'. (loading the last scenario save seems to advance the game fine; I'm wondering about the unit promotions and such.) I'm afraid I'm missing something important.

Thanks!

yes

its in your game folder in my doc's / germany at war

3 folders

multiplayer
scenario
campaign

i think, it's been a while tbh since i finished it, each battle in the campaign is a scenario as well so gets saved after each turn, once you get past a certain battle in the campaign it also lets you single play the scenario as well on it own if memory serves me right, i could be wrong, it wouldn't be the first or last time tbh

Thanks zakblood,

I don't have that... everything saves to one folder, maybe an 8.1 thing, however I do notice a different name prefix with the campaign scenario saves i.e. AGN-Riga for the Army Group North Campaign.

Well anyway so far so good I think the campaign is working I just needed to replay 2 turns because I have auto save off.

Thoroughly enjoyable IMHO!

might be getting it mixed up with other game then, or like you said win 8.1 does do strange stuff at times as well[:D]

must agree it's a great game, doesn't get the rewards it deserves imo.

not played it since the last patch as i had finished it before it and have other stuff to do, but will go back and restart it when time permits, and look forward to any newer developments when made, as most if not all games here seem to last a long long time with over the years plenty of support and mods etc for many....[;)]
