I am keen to know what you think kirk - especially (of course!) the naval game. I saw part of a video earlier and I still have the same old doubts and reservations - what with it being an AEGOD game - but hope you can convince me otherwise. Needs a good naval game though as a first off.

Agreed Warspite.....AGEOD is not known for their naval combat. I hope it does justice to it.....Just played some JUTLAND with the guys on Saturday! Now there is some WW1 naval action. Mind you tactical.

I played 6 long and very fun turns last night after purchasing. (I like to micro-manage so some turns take upwards of an hour for me).

Anyhow....I think this is a spectacular game! (albeit a few spelling and grammatical errors sprinkled throughout some in game text)

Playing as the CP, my crowning moment last night was stomping a mud hole in the Russian armies arses in Eastern Prussia. I inflicted 51,000 casualties in one battle against them using the crossfire battle plan.

Love this game already! Thank you Ageod, this is a must own kind of game!!

I'm really enjoying my first game as Western Entente. The High Seas Fleet or whatever the German fleet was called caught me out and gave my, what I thought was a strong fleet, a real good drubbing and sunk numerous cruisers.

So, I prepared and the next time I gave them a real good drubbing - not as bad as they did me, but I gave them something to think about, to be sure. It looks like they split their fleet before the second battle. That fleet wasn't as powerful as the one that tore me up. Either way, I gave them a good thrashing.

I'll be doing an AAR over at Ageod when they give me the access to post in the AAR room for EAW. It will be a learning experience for me, because I'm not good at Ageod games. I'm doing OK the first few months in this one, though.
