SPM v. 0.7.26.1 is now available

Hello all,

The latest update for SPM is now available! Please download it using the game's launcher. If this method fails, you can download it and install it manually from here.

It's been nearly a month since our last update and you can expect lots of new features in the latest version. Here are some examples from the main areas (as always, please refer to the changelog in order to find out more details):

* We're introducing the PBEM game mode, which will allow you to test your skills against other players. You can play in either 'Cold War' mode or 'Free-form Mode'. The first one forces a NASA vs Soviet Union match, whereas the latter allows each player to pick any agency they want (this is what you need to select if you want to play Soviets vs Soviets! [:)] )
* In the gameplay area, we've made lots of tweaks to the game database based on the suggestions we got from the forums. We also implemented a mandatory rest season for astronauts that are coming back from a mission, which will surely make gameplay more interesting, as it will force you to rotate your crews more often.
* The UI area is where you will find the biggest changes: the personnel management screen has been completely redesigned based on the suggestion posted by nico7550 a while ago (and you can also now set a target value when sending employees to advanced training, another feature that was requested in the forums a while ago). All the pop-ups for opening rocket programs, managing mission components and selecting a rocket for a mission configuration have been redesigned as well.
* We've also added an initial implementation for the Museum, which allows you to view stats from the space agency. This is still work in progress, but for the moment you can already visualize data regarding your personnel, fallen astronauts and all the goals achieved throughout the game. Notice that in order for the museum to display a valid set of stats, you'll need to start a new game from scratch.

We're already working on the implementation of the single player campaign, and yesterday I played my first solo game against the Soviet union! We'll keep working on this during the weekend and, if everything goes well, by mid-next week we'll start the internal testing of this feature more thoroughly. The other departments are also hard at work wrapping things up for release, so expect more UI improvements, mission animations and music tracks in the next update.

About old savefiles: GSA campaign savefiles are no longer valid, though if you really want to continue an old game, feel free to send me the savefile and I'll convert it for you. Savefiles from other game modes should work well.

Feel free to ask any questions and I'll try to get back to you as soon as I can.

Cheers,
