The Migrant War, version 1.04

So, the last time I played my own scenario, the Migrant War, it was a long time ago. With several updates passed, I decided to try again.

-Last time, I lost no ships, easily fended off the Omani attack, but lost over twenty planes. However, I accomplished the goals (sail to Muscat and destroy the runway).
-This time, the missile targeting changes made the Harpoons a much more deadly threat to my less-than-ideally equipped fleet, and one Type 21 was sunk. (Poor class, losing two in the Falklands and now one here).
-The air combat went better, and so did the strikes. I lost six Mirages rather than ten, but the runway was not taken out on the first attempt. A huge naval bombardment took the runway out, and hit the SAMs too in case I needed another go with the air force.
-But moving them in close had its disadvantages. The runway was open long enough for an F-16 to take off, launch Harpoons at (sigh) another Type 21, then return before anything could be done about it. Thankfully, I didn't lose a second ship.
-The naval attacks destroyed the runway, making the airstrikes unnecessary.
-The battle was still won.

Migrant war. Tried this scenario too. Thanks to the author for making it, nice idea and setup.

The first time I have very high Mirage losses because of F16 and Rapiers sams without doing almost any damage.

On the second time I defended my ships more actively with F16 and prevented recon by enemy helicopters with my aircraft. I later dispatched the Omani task force with long range Harpoons without any losses. Then I headed with the task force toward the Omani coast at high speed, attacking radars and rapier SAM with naval cannon. The omani F16 never had the ability to react in good numbers and I managed to control them with limited losses with my F16 CAP. Without enemy air defence, I attacked the airfield airstrip with a squadron of Mirage doing considerable damage. No need to use offensive jamming and naval helos.
I think that with a capable human opponent it wouldn’t been so easy. The AI didn’t spare the planes and wasted the jaguar in hopeless attacks.
