[SOLVED] [1.9.5.8] Unable to set Discovery settings back to Ask what to do

1.9.5.8, Steam version

I changed the setting in Options: Empire Settings: Discoveries to Investigate and show all results.

Now I am unable to change it back to the 'Ask what to do' setting.

I can switch it to Investigate and not show results.

Edit: Thanks to fruitgnome. I double checked my settings. In a previous game I had checked 'Suppress All Popups' and had forgotten about it. When I unchecked that I was able to change the setting back again.
