Problems running game with PIII 733 Mhz

Post by 88mm »

The info boxes and stuff flashes by too fast for me to read. Is there any way to slow things down without clocking down my processor?

the problem isn't the speed of your processor, it's in your preference settings.
To slow down messages, set your message delay to a higher setting (I use 140 for about 1.4 seconds). This will make the messages display for longer.

To speed up the appearance of terrain info, set the live delay to a lower setting (I use 40 for about .4 seconds). This reduces the time it takes from when you place the cursor over an item to when a message pops up.

Want to view an artillery barrage in all its glory? Set fast artillery off, & message delay to 0. Just play around with the various features of the preference screen, learn the functions & tweak the game to the way you want it.

The game runs just fine on my system, Athlon 800, 256 megs ram, Geforce 2 graphics.
