Do I have a bug?

Post by Rogue187 »

I am following the guide for the turn 2 set up (even through I am on turn 1) and was in the middle of making my TF's in Anchorage only to find out that they are destined for nowhere. I have tried undocking the TF and clicking on other cities, but I get a quick message saying "waypoint #1 (hex number) created." But I am not trying to create waypoints just direct routes. When I looked at all the TF', they said destination "none." I don't seem to be having trouble anywhere else that I have noticed, just Alaska so far. Do I need to end the turn and try setting a destination again?

Attach a screen shot of one TF. But before that, click on the Set TF routing button, to the right of the TF art, and make sure you don't have any routing selected. Also, to set a destination, click on the "set destination" button, above the set TF routing button....GP

The game itself does not have a facility for taking screen pics. There is a way to do it with the basic Windows stuff, but that's slightly complicated and (shall we say [:D]) "sub-optimal". Most people use some product or other designed for it, most of them free in some way (trial-ware, just plain free, etc.). Many of us use Greenshot, which is free and open source. The link is http://getgreenshot.org/

Click on "Downloads" then just under where it says "Download the latest stable release" click on "Download".

Or, this is the direct link to get the latest version.
http://getgreenshot.org/current/

After you install it, go in and make the settings so that it saves to a .jpg file (that's what is usually posted to the forum).

I got all setup to show off this bug only to find...everything works now. My theory: I had the excel sheet open for the Day 2 Allied start was doing a lot of shift tabbing between excel and the game. Maybe something got messed up in that process. If it happens again I will take a screen shot.

Good! Hopefully it stays working.

Editing my previous post to include a screen pic for anyone else who sees this and needs it.
