Gary Grigsby’s War in the West 1943-45 is the most ambitious and detailed computer wargame on the Western Front of World War II ever made. Starting with the Summer 1943 invasions of Sicily and Italy and proceeding through the invasions of France and the drive into Germany, War in the West brings you all the Allied campaigns in Western Europe and the capability to re-fight the Western Front according to your plan.

Hexes

is there a way to switch off the hexes? I note on the tutorial videos they seem missing, and in WitE you could switch them off. No button I've found so far to do that in this game. Can it be done? Thanks.

Yes - I using it right now. Full page printable in the handbook - and its even up to date (the Control-G key to turn off hexes was listed as an addition in the read-me file!)

The handbook is not in the tome - if you want it hardcopy you'll have to print it yourself.
