Lending Oil to Free French

Germany just create Vichy (end of last turn).

Need to get Oil to the Free French.

(during the Lend Resources Phase) Only able to send Brit Build Points to Free French.

Is this inability to send Oil Points from the Brits to the Free French tied to the fact that both Vichy and Free France were just created?

No, it should work correctly. In a trade agreement you can allocate the number of resources you want to send and the number of those resources that has to be oil. Next, you need a convoy chain to the place where you want to store the oil for the Free French. Finally in the production planning you need to allocate which CW controlled oil resource is traded to the Free French.

You can't use oil the CW gets out of trade agreements (such as the Venezuela Oil) for it, only oil that the CW has saved or available on his own oil fields.

Figured it out / My bad. Had to cancel a pre-Vichy Resource the French were lending to the Brits. Sorry for the confusion, Don.

sounds like a bug.

France no longer exist, so any trade agreements should be cancelled when Vichy is declared

Nope. Free France is the inheritor of France. See FAQ Q5.1-1 and 13.7-19.
