Would be good to have more details. The good thing to start is to copy "sound" folder to something else (ex. "sound_witw") and see if it helps.

Its still happening whilst I`m going tho general info screens.

This what the error message said (lots more if you need it)

APP crash
exception code 40000015

Game currently installed in D:\matrix games folder. Should I try a default installation?
Thanks. ( Its all very odd - only had about 3 crashes in 4 years of a lot of playing WITE)

Is D drive an external disk?

I tried the sound re-name thing-I got sound during the intro but nothing in-game.

The D: drive is a partition of the c: drive.

I also gor a "corrupt data" message so I will re-download the installer file and do a clean install on the C: drive. (after uninstalling from D:)

I will report results later. Thankyou.
