ground losses

Gary Grigsby’s War in the West 1943-45 is the most ambitious and detailed computer wargame on the Western Front of World War II ever made. Starting with the Summer 1943 invasions of Sicily and Italy and proceeding through the invasions of France and the drive into Germany, War in the West brings you all the Allied campaigns in Western Europe and the capability to re-fight the Western Front according to your plan.

ground losses

Post by Ormbane »

when I look at the screen showing ground losses after each turn I see a large number every turn that get attributed to allied losses. When I look at the details (left side of screen) the prefix that seems to be taking all the losses is AM. Since the US already has a prefix what does AM stand for? The losses seem to be primarily things like vehicles and cargo ships, but sometimes even rifle squads.
