AI Transfering Planes

Gary Grigsby’s War in the West 1943-45 is the most ambitious and detailed computer wargame on the Western Front of World War II ever made. Starting with the Summer 1943 invasions of Sicily and Italy and proceeding through the invasions of France and the drive into Germany, War in the West brings you all the Allied campaigns in Western Europe and the capability to re-fight the Western Front according to your plan.

Post by GARY L »

Hi

I have the AI set up to Transfer Planes

It has not Transfered Planes to Mainland Italy or Transfered any Transports from North Africa-What am I doing Wrong?

Are you repeating the AI transfer instruction? My understanding is that that is necessary. It works reasonably well in my experience, but you need to sometimes supplement it with some manual transfers. I believe the experts manually transfer all their air units to optimise performance - but I'm not there yet.

Check your supply net on the mainland to be sure that the airbases have supply. The AI does not like transferring a/c to airbases without supply.
