Qs about the Logistics Phase Event Log

Gary Grigsby’s War in the West 1943-45 is the most ambitious and detailed computer wargame on the Western Front of World War II ever made. Starting with the Summer 1943 invasions of Sicily and Italy and proceeding through the invasions of France and the drive into Germany, War in the West brings you all the Allied campaigns in Western Europe and the capability to re-fight the Western Front according to your plan.

Qs about the Logistics Phase Event Log

Post by Grotius »

I'm probably not the only one who loves poring over the Shift-E report at the start of every turn. (And I'm sure there are some people who hate looking at it!) I have a couple minor questions about it, though.

1. The bottom of the Factory Damage report lists many VPs for cities, which is helpful, but the list seems to be printed twice. Any reason for this? Not a big deal.

2. I understand most of the numbers in the Freight section, but what does the number circled below mean?

Many thanks.

Thanks for your reply. I guessed it had something to do with trucks.

Sorry to bother you with detailed questions like this. I just love all the detail under the hood in this game, and I like understanding how it works!
