B-17F upgrade problem

B-17F upgrade problem

In the 1943 campaign on turn 2 I can't upgrade any of my B-17F units to the B-17G even though there are plenty in the pool. The B-17G is not showing up in the list as an upgrade choice (B-24s are available).

B-17F starts production in May 1943. There is 3 months delay for the US aircraft (1 months for other nations) before it can be used by air forces, i.e. not until August 1943.
