Airborne planning reset to 0

Post by Belphegor »

I set an airborne unit to land in a mountainous hex.... it can't do that, yes I know. But it allowed me to choose it during planning, set for drop during an invasion, and then immediately reset the unit to 0 planning points the next turn. WAD?

I'm not surprised that the interface lets you set the target, but the game won't let you drop into a mountain.

Fair enough. But it removes all my prep points too for attempting the drop? I was expecting perhaps the standard re-targeting loss of prep.

That's awesome just like in real world. You can plan, only to have mission canceled due to bad/updated geographical intel.

All new drop zones, glider pilot prep, objectives, supply drops.
