Victory point calculation

Post by Seminole »

I'm playing the Battleground Italy scenario, still getting my feet wet with the game, and decided to take an early look at the Victory Points screen.
It appears I'm only getting half the points I should be getting for Axis losses.
Is it calculating incorrectly, or have values been adjusted and just not reflected on this screen yet:

25.2. NoN-CAmPAIGN
SCENARIo vICtoRY
CoNdItIoNS

...

This base number for losses
can be further modified for each side by a certain
percentage. for example, the scenario may be set up
so that each player will “earn” 1 vP for each 1000 men
lost by the other player, but if the western Allies player
has a twenty percent modifier, the Axis will not gain
a victory point until 5000 men have been lost.

-> that's the (50) next to "Ax lost", Axis has a 50% modifier in BG Italy. You have to kill twice as much Germans to obtain the same score. Welcome in Italy's mountains !

Thanks, don't know how I missed that CTRL+F'ing through the manual. :)
