Wrong Email acct for Server Game, how to change ?

May not be a Matrix thing, but thought I'd post it here .... Have a server game going and keep getting email traffic to the wrong email acct (or at lest one I would prefer not too). Checked Matrix side and don't see the email address wrong. Issue trying to get into the server side .... keeps adding an extension to my user name even though they claim a unified system.
Any thoughts as to where I need to track this down .... ? Is it exclusively a sever side thing ?

Isn't that email tied to your Slitherine user account?

That's my guess, but everytime I try to go into it (and re-set it), still adds a modifier to my login irrespective to the unified login system
get caught in a loop and won't allow me to access the profile there ..... Will be chasing that down there
