CR improvement - air screen

Gary Grigsby’s War in the West 1943-45 is the most ambitious and detailed computer wargame on the Western Front of World War II ever made. Starting with the Summer 1943 invasions of Sicily and Italy and proceeding through the invasions of France and the drive into Germany, War in the West brings you all the Allied campaigns in Western Europe and the capability to re-fight the Western Front according to your plan.

CR improvement - air screen

Post by Mickrocks201 »

Right now right clicking on the groups mission does nothing.... how about making right click scroll backwards thru mission types - so instead of clicking 4 times to go from DN -> RS* (dozens and dozens of times) I can right click once. It seems to me playing the allies that I spend LOTS of clicks resting low moral airgroups - very boring. If I would be able to go back and forth between DN and RS* with one click (R or L) I would be much happier.

That would be great. Or the possibility to set all air groups under a certain morale to rest. Possible via filters where you can sort and set thresholds? [&o]

some way to mass select then enter new value like you can do with the number box control, % to fly etc

Yes more filters. Morale filter, fatigue filter, coffee filter.

+1 and
a filter/window for a cut-off value (eg 60 = air groups with morale below 60 are set to rest)

Most inconvenient part of the game to me is the lack of some feature like this. I have my own coffee filters though.

Another request would be to leave the state of the AIR DETAIL button alone between phases. I like it to be on TWO PLANES, but it reverts back to ONE during the opponents phase.
