Error when selecting a certain aircraft in mission

Hello there. I hope this is of some use. I'm experiencing a repeatable crash (or not CRASH, but a "you should probably leave Command now " error upon selecting a particular F/A-18 in this saved game.

Raiders 8 is the Hornet in question.

I also experienced an extremely bizarre situation which I'm not entirely able to describe in which it seemed Su27's engaged the "ghosts" that my EA-6B Prowler generated, and fired all their missiles. This led to them self-destructing in the log, but shortly after a Su27 got a gun kill on the Hornet which was nowhere near the supposed killer! The Hornet in question is the one killed by the Flanker's gun in the log.
