Hi all !
I just got the game and after experimenting twice I downloaded the 2.20 Patch. Wil that make CAP more deadly and flak reasnable. I was losing way more planes to flak then to eneny CAP.
Which side/scenario is best for a new guy?
BTW I am an old SPI War In the Pacific vet if any of you people remeber that monstrosity of a wargame. I typically played the Japanese in that.

Suggest you try Coral Sea against the AI, and after mastering that one, take a few more of the smaller scenarios in order. When you get tired of smashing that AI, try PBEM.
