Scenario: Lightning Strikes

Post by Wild Bill »

For those who just got the game and have a problem with scenario "Lightning Strikes in Norwasy - Scen087), we have issued a temporary fix in the game depot. You can download the scenario and the correct oob file is included so that you can play it.

This will be corrected in a future release of OOBs in the next few weeks, but this will fix it for the moment.

For those who have not yet played it, it is quite a fascinating little piece of action.

You don't collect them, Tiger. You must move adjacent to them. When you do, your forces start replenishing ammo. Once you think you have enough, you can move out to attack. They work like ammo depots. You just have to be next to them one full turn to get more ammo for your weapons.

Try it again. You'll probably do even better this time.

For those of you who haven't tried this scenario yet I HIGHLY recommend it. This is a great small scale, quick playing scenario that is a challenge from either side. I've played this quite a few time against another human player and it comes down to the wire at times. But then again I've learned to expect nothing else from Wild Bill. He makes excellent scenarios. Play this one and I'm sure you'll agree. Thanks Wild Bill!

One of my favorites too, Trooper. I like the relatively quick play scenarios as a rule, but every once in a while I'll pounce on a "Momo" monster one just to stretch my gaming muscles.

Quick play scenarios can be quite challenging with an excessive drain of time. Ideal for just before supper or just before bed.

"It's a short one, dear, Image I'll be though in just a few minutes."

Under her breath, "Yeah, right! Image"

Take care of yourself, Trooper!

If you are having problems with this scenario, you will need this download until the OOBs are updated. That will be soon, I think...Wild Bill
