A Question of Scale...

Post by Werewolf13 »

I've read the manual, watched a YouTube video and perused the screenshots.

Almost ready to buy.

Just one question. The scale is 75 yards/hex. All the views I've seen appear to be putting units as large as a brigade into just one hex. Not possible. In fact at 75 yards per hex and one man per yard across in double line formation that's just 470 men - about a battalion or a small regiment.

Something isn't right??

Does the game permit putting a whole brigade in a single hex?
Freedom is not free! Nor should it be. For men being men will neither fight for nor value that which is free.

the largest unit I've seen is Regt. So thats the largest that will be in one hex as far as I could tell.

Thanks

Every unit is a regiment (or battery, battalion, company or staff), I think the biggest unit is 700 men.

Correct - no brigades in one hex. Just regiments and you can split each regiment to cover two hexes as well.
