Where is the version number located?

It is on the loading screen, very top right, in teeny tiny white font that is very difficult to read against the background. Don't blink or you will miss it.

It should be moved to the main menu screen.

It all happened so quick. I caught a glimpse of it before it loaded up but couldn't discern the numbers in time.

yes a different colour would be better as it's not that clear, but does say 1.02 for those who use the latest beta update

Yeah, the color is awful. We didn't get the box art until very close to release. The old color looked good on the stub graphic we were using for the loading screen, but when we switched to the box art that color is almost unreadable now. And I agree, the version number should be in the corner of the main menu somewhere. Computers were slow when I first started making BAB so you had plenty of time to read the version number while the game was loading, but now on my machine the game loads in less than a second and there is really no time to read the version number at all.
