[FIXED B696] Slowdown and crash

I'm currently developing my own independently-made scenario, but this all of things happened while I was testing it midway through...
Think this could be fixable? If you could all look into this, I'd appreciate it! [And the weird shapes and the like in the error message are courtesy of the Japanese language pack I installed on my PC]
