Minor GUI glitch

Just picked up the game last weekend and am learning the ropes. However, I stumbled upon this extremely minor glitch with the GUI (Version 2.20):

On the Weapon Database window, only one of the selection buttons (US Aircraft) stays highlighted when it is selected. When selecting any other button, the button loses its highlight (although the information in the display is correctly changed to reflect the button selection). Granted, you can tell by looking at the contents of the display, but hey, I'm anal and the other database page has the correct behavior.

I didn't see anyone mention this anywhere, but if someone already did, my apologies. So much for my first contribution...

Did you just install patch 2.2? If so you need to get patch 2.0 and then 2.1 and then install 2.2.

Oh, and great game!

I just tested this out and I get different results. Some light up others don't. I have two games installed and both patched to version 2.2 and I tested it in both. It must be a patching problem.

I will try to run it down.

From a clean 2.0 CD install (and setting CurrentVersion=2.0 in settings.ini since it is incorrectly identified as 1.4) I had patched via True Update to 2.10, then 2.11, then 2.20. Glad to hear that you saw similar behavior.

Is it possible the 2.0 CD might have accidentally been mastered with a mix of 1.4 and 2.0 files? I might try clean installing the CD and running the 2.00 updater (as if my CD actually WAS 1.40) and then patching through 2.10, 2.11 and 2.20 to see if that makes any difference...

OK, I was bored so I just tried what I last suggested - a wipe and clean install with the 2.0 CD (without editing CurrentVersion to = 2.0), and updating with the 2.00, 2.10, 2.11 and 2.20 patches. The result was the same GUI glitch as described previously. Hey, at least it's repeatable for me... :rolleyes:

Nope, thank YOU for looking into it. I'll keep my eyes peeled for any other problems of this nature. Once again, fantastic game, fellas! Now let's see if I can break something else...
