Unit under Mouse Display problem

Please see the attached screenshot:



Playing the South, Williamsburg Tutorial scenario, when I hover the mouse cursor over the 4th South Carolina Battalion (circled in red), the Unit under Mouse display says "Unknown enemy Unit ..."

For every other unit, friend or foe -- even for the true enemy units, the Union forces just up the map -- the Unit under Mouse displays the expected detail. AFAIK, it's just this one 4th South Carolina Battalion that appears to be incognito.

I think you can see it from the previous intel check, has this unit moved or it was stationary? In the latter case I think is normal.

No, stationary. It's the Williamsburg starter scenario, played at Tutorial difficulty, first turn at the very beginning of the scenario, no movement yet by that unit, or any other Southern unit.

I just restarted that scenario, and this time that one unit displays properly.

It seems to be hit-or-miss, now you see it -- the expected Unit under Mouse display -- now you don't.

If this is WAD, it seems rather odd. Why would one side not know where its own units are? Or rather, from turn to turn, know one turn that in one location that's the 4th South Carolina Battalion (or whatever), the next turn fail its "intel check" and somehow forget that very same unit's identity, in the very same location?

I totally missed that you are playing as Confederate, sorry.
Surely is a bug or a glitch.

That's unusual. Does it only happen when that unit is selected?

I can't now replicate it. It happened the first time I tried the scenario, as the South.

Whether or not the unit was selected, IIRC it made no difference.

I was able to replicate it, on new game startup. Current 1.03 beta, Williamsburg starter scenario, Tutorial difficulty, playing the South. My own unit -- the 4th South Carolina Battalion -- is incognito. All other units, including the enemy Northern units, are WAD IDable.

Makes no difference whether or not the unit is selected (in both screenshots, mouse hovering over the circled hex):
