Post by Daniele »

Good news!
Brother Against Brother has been updated to 1.0.4 and this version is truly decisive! The new patch is entirely focused in improving the game in its mechanics and in fixing some bugs!

Amongst all the changes, a particular mention goes to a more differentiation to brigade colors, the morale penalty for splitting regiments has been removed and a new 1st Manassas alternate history scenario is now available!

Developers have worked hard to make the game even better than before!

You can download the patch from here

Here’s the changelog:

• Now showing echelon colors in hierarchy box
• Increased the frame rate
• Added more differentiation to brigade colors
• Select higher echelons in OOB with click; show selected unit/echelons in OOB

Fixes:
• Fix for PBEM timeout issue
• Fix for corrupted game save PBEM issue
• Fix no smoke on save file load issue

• Longrange move should be possible even inside move area
• History graph buttons being interfered by unit buttons in short resolutions

I should note that 1.03 had a permanent scenario change that broke Williamsburg saves, so if you never updated to 1.03 then 1.04 will do the same thing.

Is 1.04 "inclusive"? IOW's, must we install the original version 1.00, followed by 1.02, followed by 1.04 (don't believe there ever was an official 1.03 ...)? Or may we simply install over all the previous beta patches? just a little clarification needed. thanks.

1.04 is inclusive, so from a clean install with a empty folder etc, if it's been un installed properly and double checked the folder has gone, all you need is the base game which is version 1.00, then run the auto update which finds the latest build for you, which atm is 1.04, as 1.05 is in beta but can be installed over the top afterwards if you like, but can't be uninstalled on it's own etc, as most beta tbh.
