army dissapeared

playing the 43 campaign as axis versus ai the wa has taken sardinia and corsica and the italian units have all dissapeared from the map but some construction brigades. I have installed the new beta 1.0.44 and started the prior turn. At the beginning the italians units are there but when it ends they all have gone

Sounds like you have triggered Italian Surrender - see Page 167 of the Manual for more details (section 18.1)
