Map Settings View Presets?

Post by NByz »

Hey! Another Steam 50% saler here!

Loving the game so far; it's just what I was hoping for.

My question was around the various view settings in the "Map Settings" menu. In particular, I was wondering if it was possible to bind any of the Weapons and Sensor range visibility options to a keyboard key.

Or even better! To create presets that only activate a combination of them: so a single key can focus on sensors and weapons that are important to sub-surface, surface, and air combat respectively.

I'm not sure if this is an enhancement request, or if someone has a trick or suggestion. But i feel like it would help clean up the interface.

Also interested if you can bind view location and camera altitude to a single key.

Awesome game. Edit: I mean simulation.

Thanks! That's an interesting suggestion for quickly switching between different areas of engagement.

Yes, you can use the Quick-Jump slots for this: http://www.warfaresims.com/?page_id=2697

Would be nice to have 'Datablocks All/Selected' toggle on a hotkey as well. Or even hold the key down to show all datablocks, then revert to prior setting upon key release.
